Description:  3.4 megawatt systems installed on 3 campuses at Fort Bliss, TX . These systems are ground mounted and the power generated is fed back into the existing grid system to help offset the current power consumption and help the Army meet their renewable energy goals.

Marine Force Reserves – Tampa, FL

Description:  The 73.2 kilowatt DC solar electric system consists of 299 solar panels on the roof of the main building at the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Center. The solar power will provide 106 MWh of AC energy annually. The system was installed in conjunction with a re-roof of the building.  It will save money and help fulfill federal renewable energy requirements.

 

Hatch Stage Field – Ft. Rucker, Alabama

Description:  Provided “turn-key” engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services to construct a 51 kW Solar Generation site at the Hatch Stage Field heliport on the Fort Rucker Army base.  Click here for more information from the Army on the project.

Description:  Designed and engineered a 139.92 kW roof mounted PV system to fulfill the requirements of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2007 and Executive Order 13423 regarding renewable energy requirements.

Description:  Designed and engineered a 25 kW roof mounted PV system to fulfill the requirements of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2007 and Executive Order 13423 regarding renewable energy requirements.

 

 

Marine Force Reserves Building and Warehouse – New Orleans, Louisiana

Description:  Designed and engineered two roof mounted solar PV systems for building and adjacent warehouse.  The system installed for the building is 50 kW, and the warehouse 40 kW.  Grid-tie, metering, and data systems were installed for monitoring.

 

Laughlin Air Force Base Barracks – Del Rio, Texas

Description:  Designed and engineered two micro-inverter PV Systems for adjacent barracks buildings.  Building #255 system size is 53 kW, Building #256 is 63 kW.  Grid-tie, metering, and data systems were installed for base monitoring.

Description:  Designed and engineered a 360kw roof mounted solar PV system for Army barracks.  Also designed and engineered varying kW roof mounted systems for adjacent buildings on the base.  We are currently in the process of developing firm fixed prices for more buildings.

Description:  Designed and engineered a 212kw roof mounted solar PV system.  Grid-tie, metering, and data systems were installed for base monitoring.   We also designed and engineered varying kW roof mounted systems for adjacent buildings on the base.

 

            

Eglin Air Force Base Community/Training Pool – Fort Walton, Florida

Pool Use: Training, Residential

Description:  Designed and engineered  an array of 164, ground mounted solar pool heating panels.  As the pool water circulates through the collectors, over 1,000 BTUs of thermal energy per square foot are absorbed by the water before returning to the pool.  This installation increased yearly pool use, thus increasing training availability and recreational use.

 

Ft. Bliss Army Base Dining Facility – El Paso, Texas

Description:  Designed and engineered a 120 kW PV System.  A combination of Parking Canopy and Shade & Roof mounted panels was used for the Dining Facility.  Grid-tie, metering, and data systems were installed for base monitoring.
