10.2 kW Energy Offset/2015 Completion

Beumer Realty on Gulf Beach Highway in Pensacola built a new energy efficient office building and Compass Solar Energy designed, engineered and installed a grid tied 10.2 kW solar PV system with micro-inverters to help make it a net zero building.

11 kW Energy Offset/2014 Completion

Designed and engineered an 11 kW grid-tied solar powered electric vehicle charging carport using Lumos frameless solar modules to enhance the aesthetic appeal. Located in the parking lot at the Advanced Technology Center of Gulf Coast State College.

Compass Solar Energy designed and engineered the fabrication of the this 1000 watt solar awning at Securadyne Systems in 2013.

29.6 Kw Energy Offset and Solar Water Heating System/2012 Completion

Description:  Designed and engineered a 29.6 kW PV System as energy offset for apartment complex, along with a complex Solar Water Heating System.  The solar thermal installation was for their laundry building, as using the sun to heat water greatly reduces energy consumption.  The solar electric installation was for the common area at the complex- providing a large offset of total electricity usage.  Panels were roof mounted and grid-tied, with data systems installed for monitoring.


 

Sunsmart Solar for Schools:  2012 Completion

Designed and engineered 7 – 10 kW PV Systems with battery back-up, used as energy offset and educational use for students.  Panels were ground mounted using custom steel racking system.  Grid-tie, metering, and data systems were installed for faculty and student monitoring.
